Profile Information

What would you like to accomplish in 2010?
Having recently relocated from South Florida (my studio, classes and exhibitions opportunities) I want to get back to back to a painting routine and expand my area of expertise. I am now married and live in a 45' motorhome full time, 6 months in central Florida and 6 in western NC.
Is there anything we can help you with?
motivation!

how to work more with less!

Hello, Sweetheart! Happy Holidays to you!

Wishing the very best for you and yours. I'm hoping that you have attained your goals for this year and are planning for next year to be even better!

I've probably mentioned this before, BUT should you ever decide to teach an online workshop, I hope you will consider doing it in here. Your work is GORGEOUS!

I'm sorry I didn't see your message that was left to me on the 3rd of Oct. about jewelry teaching on this group. I will think of a good, juicy tutorial to add to the free tutorials and another for the paid.
Please feel free to ask for anything specific you might like to learn about!
Regards,
Shannon

Thank you! Polish is a versatile medium. I add ground glass, opals, pearls, sand, etc.. 'Montana' was a dry-brush technique... My usual paintings resemble stained glass and have ~40 layers of polish. They're stable, and meant to be touched---you can wash them in Woolite.

I've been busy lately, and I'm going to school. But I have made a birthday resolution to try to create art everyday. I hope to post something soon.

HI Diana, Thank you so much!! I love it in NC and you're so right about the artist community. It's grown so much in the 10 years I've lived here. Do you ever go to Random Art's in Saluda? I hope you'e having a very Happy Birthday!

A Caribbean Holiday Celebration!

A Caribbean Celebration

Some of my friends in Administration have recently asked me to tell them how
we celebrate the holidays in my country, Puerto Rico.

I’m sure it would seem simple to just say: “Well, we put up a tree, sing songs around it, eat lots and lots of food made by our moms and aunts and grannies and have gifts under the tree for the little ones. And that would be true, we do all that because that is part of all the good and sometimes bad stuff we have inherited fro… Continue
