One of my felted ATCs made it into a magazine some years ago.. don't know if I posted it here or not.. I used boiled wool for a back and then needle felted on it and wet it .. you can do so much with a felted ATC.. the options are numerous. do you have easy access to the roving?

My felting needle and foam is beginning to move around with me as well. I alternate now experimenting between wet and needle felting. Great thing about needle felting is you can take it anywhere, except in the rain I guess. I was wondering if it was safe to do in the car... I like the idea of felted ATC's too. I love art that can be felt (no pun intended).

thank you Ingrid... I find it addictive.. I could sit anywhere with my needle felting project and happily tap tap tap away.. except in a moving car.. I have a friend that does that.. but I can't... (^_^) you will find that the ideas will be endless... keep in touch.. please Q

Wow, I love this creation (and so many others in your album too!). Beautiful colours. A feast for the eye. I've only just started felting. First wet felting, a few months ago. This week I've started to play with needle felting. I love both techniques. So nice to find an experienced felter here.

A Caribbean Holiday Celebration!

A Caribbean Celebration

Some of my friends in Administration have recently asked me to tell them how
we celebrate the holidays in my country, Puerto Rico.

I’m sure it would seem simple to just say: “Well, we put up a tree, sing songs around it, eat lots and lots of food made by our moms and aunts and grannies and have gifts under the tree for the little ones. And that would be true, we do all that because that is part of all the good and sometimes bad stuff we have inherited fro… Continue
