I thought since Facebook is a great place to network, get to know people, and get to know about them that it might be a fun idea to have a "Follow me on Facebook forum.

Anyone who's interested in following or being followed please post here. Once this gets rolling we'll be able to find each other quickly on Facebook and share updates and what's for sale regularly.

Anyone intersted in following me on Facebook can find me under Tammy Hamilton and should be able to recognize me log from my page on this Ning site. Just let me know that you found me through Deb Company!

So you like Facebook, eh? Well, I'm quite disappointed in the place myself. It's so unappealing aesthetic-wise and I've had a rough go of navigating in there. I was super excited when I first joined up a few months back....I think it was January. I got piles of friend invites and then got innundated with invites and crazy stuff that I just didn't understand.

Obviously I haven't spent enough time in there to figure out how it all works. I have a few friends that LOVE the place. I'll take Ning any old day! There are so many more possibilities in here.

Do you have any tricks for me to consider on Facebook? I do enjoy networking and meeting new people...maybe I am just approaching it incorrectly?

I've been posting the Home Page in here to my Facebook and MySpace profiles. There is a drop down menu up in the right hand corner....just above the Google ads....it says Quick Add.

When you click on that arrow there, the drop down menu appears and you can click on Share This Page. It's easy peasy and it really helps our group and artists get more attention!!

I'm with you, Deb. I joined several months ago and have lots of friends but I haven't a clue as to what's going on there! Like you also, I'm overrun with all kinds of nonsense that I basically ignore (especially after being told not to accept and virtual "gifts" because of viruses) and don't know how to get rid of all those invites, etc.

One thing I really dislike and don't know how to fix is that all my FB friends every little move shows up on my home page! It's cluttered and looks awful!

Maybe we just need some good FB instruction here! lol
